Triumph Ricardo's are scarce through out the world, and i was lucky to find this with a dealer. The frame is 1925 and the engine is confirmed to be a 1926, so I can only assume the original engine was damaged and replaced. The interesting point you will notice with this Ricardo is that soemone tried to built a racer of the period. It is rough, and I have found a old rotten SD frame with no numbers to use as a donor for the Ricardo. I will ha ve to send it too a frame specialist in the UK, but it willbe worth it. I have all of the parts now for this, so once the frame is sorted; I will commence the restoration.
